Phil Esposito
Phil Esposito had an illustrious 19 year career in the NHL with 1,590 career points in over 1,200 NHL games. In 1968 Esposito made history when he became the first player to score 100 points in an NHL season.
Johnny Bower
Johnny Bower or “The China Wall” as he went by, played 12 seasons for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1950’s. He won two Vezina trophies, the Stanley Cup four times and was named to The Hockey News’ Top 100 Players of All Time List.
Sidney Crosby
Three time Stanley Cup winner, Sidney Crosby, has been with the Penguins since his rookie season in 2005-2006. He has also won two Olympic Gold Medals.
Maurice Richard
Maurice “Rocket” Richard had a 20 year career with the Montreal Canadiens, winning a remarkable eight Stanley Cups during that time.
David Pastranak
David Pastranak anchors the right wing on what is one of the most effective lines in the NHL, joined by Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron. The Bruins just beat the Washington Capitals in the first round of the NHL Playoffs and will be playing the New York Islanders in the second round.
Ken Dryden
Ken Dryden played eight season for the Montreal Canadiens winning six Stanley Cups during that time. Dryden also won five Vezina Trophies and one Conn Smythe Trophy. Dryden has received numerous Doctoral Degrees from nine Universities including, University of Ottawa, Saint Mary’s University and University of Winnipeg.
Alex Ovechkin
Alex Ovechkin is one of the most recognizable faces in the NHL today. He won the Stanley Cup in 2018, and has won nine Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophies as the league’s top goal scorer.
Connor McDavid
Connor McDavid has taken the league by storm since his rookie year in 2015-2016. He lead the NHL in points this year picking up an incredible 105 points in 56 games, but The Oilers were swept in the first round of the NHL Playoffs by the Winnipeg Jets.
